Jacob (Jaap) van Dijk opened Lago Dorado Trailer Park in January, 1975.
Jacob and his wife, Sibylle emigrated to Mexico after World War II. He worked at
many vocations, in Mexico City, before he relocated to San Miguel de Allende.
Jacob's knowledge of 5 languages has made many a camper feel more welcome.
The staff at Lago Dorado are pleasant and helpful. They do a wonderful job in maintenance and
gardening. Washrooms and pool are cleaned daily. Garbage cans are checked several times a day.
Whatever the time of year flowers are in
bloom.
