Wayne Greenhaw studied writing under the legendary Hudson Strode at the University of Alabama. He has published fifteen books of fiction and nonfiction. As a columnist and reporter he has published hundreds of articles in regional, national, and international publications including The New York Times, Atlantic Monthly, Reader's Digest, and The Writer magazine.

He has written for the stage and television and has worked as an editor and writing teacher. He lives in Montgomery with his wife, Sally, and comes to San Miguel de Allende for several months every year.
